Vladimir Church - Roof Restoration

Roof and drainage restoration project for the federally protected heritage site “Vladimir Church”, Saint Petersburg. Design: 2020. Construction works: 2022. Client: JSC “Petros”. Scope included a condition survey of the roof and attic structures, documentation of defects in timber framing and copper standing-seam covering (seams, deformations, junctions, dormers), and assessment of moisture/condensation causes (insufficient ventilation, improper layers/membranes, missing separation/hydro-isolation at bearing points). Based on the survey, a BIM model and working documentation were produced, defining restoration and replacement measures within the design boundaries while preserving the historic geometry and architectural appearance.
