About the Project

Restoration of the historic cast-iron fence enclosing the Parade Courtyard of the Tauride Palace. Dating from the late 18th century, the fence, granite elements, and guardhouses form the palace’s formal frontage along Shpalernaya Street.

The work is based on research, on-site surveys, measurements, photographic documentation, and archival sources. The project covers the granite plinth and pedestals, iron fence sections and gates, cast decorative elements, and the metal roofs of the guardhouses. The main tasks are removing corrosion and accumulated paint layers, reinstating missing details, and resolving the junctions between metal and stone.

I was the project author and lead architect, responsible for Revit 3D modeling, visualization, and working documentation.
