Tauride Palace - Restoration of Interiors (Rooms 537–541)

Repair and restoration design for the interiors of Rooms 537–541 within the federal cultural heritage site “Tauride Palace” (Saint Petersburg, Russia). Design: 2023. Role: author, lead architect. 3D/BIM modelling (Revit), visualization, working documentation. Client/production: “Eidos” Architectural Studio LLC. Scope: on-site condition survey and documentation, drawings and schedules for restoration works. The package covers removal of later parquet flooring and installation of new oak parquet with a “squares” pattern based on palace analogues; removal of later plaster layers applied over synthetic mesh and reconstruction of traditional plaster finishes; restoration of smooth ceiling surfaces and architectural details (cornices, window trims). Replacement of non-protected window and door assemblies is included, along with hardware and ventilation grilles.
