About the Project

Repair and restoration of the steel roof structure above the Duma Hall of the Tauride Palace. The early 20th-century truss system forms the primary roof structure and supports the central skylight.

The survey identified corrosion, localized deformation, missing fasteners, deterioration of protective coatings, and condensation problems around the skylight. The project defines repairs to the historic steelwork, renewal of the roof covering, and new perimeter infill solutions.

I was the project author and lead architect, responsible for Revit 3D/BIM modeling, visualization, and working documentation.
